GOOD Based on 923 reviews Posted on Katie Larder We loved our stay at Ballina Nature Park! Our campsite was perfect right near the toilets, just as we requested. The facilities were amazing, and my daughter had a blast playing in the pool and on the slides while our dogs happily watched her from the side cafe pizza 🍕 delicious. My parents stayed in a glamping tent, which was absolutely stunning. It was a lovely family holiday that everyone enjoyed!Posted on Dave Barker Brought a camper van, lovely place, well run, helpful staff and reasonably pricedPosted on voyageur bleu I was only passing through as an overnight stay. I absolutely love the location of the park the layout of the park. I will be back for a longer stay!Posted on Sandy Chan We booked Ballina Beach Nature Resort quite late and didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be a real hidden gem. We stayed in a cabin and found it clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water (though the water pressure could be better). The kids absolutely loved the water park — so much that we didn’t even get to try the carts! Staff at the café were helpful and friendly, and it was handy to be able to buy essentials on site. Easy access to the beach, an off-leash dog park, and so many beautiful beaches around Ballina to explore next time. A great, family-friendly stay — we’d love to come back.Posted on Tess NGUYEN Except the part that it was holiday season and staff were extremely busy to pick up phone, we were happy about everything. We stayed on powered sites for 4 nites. Amenities are good. Kids loved the pool and water park. We have everything we need. The cafe is excellent with service and food and drink is above the standard, even thou this is just a small cafe set up.Posted on Matthew This was our first time camping as a family so we looked far and wide to find the right park. We only booked 4 weeks in advance and it was peak season. Our expectations were more than met! The facilities were 10/10 (I’ve gone back through the history and it looks as though some serious money and thought has been done in the last 24 months). We booked a powered site but were in tents/swags - ended up in a drive thru site which was HUGE and was nice and close to the new toilet block and camp kitchen - thank you!!Camp kitchen set up was 11/10 and everyone took care to keep it tidy. Pool and slides 11/10. Cafe food and staff 11/10. Check in communication prior to arriving and process was super easy. We did one trip via Wardell otherwise would recommend the ferry. Some things for the park (very minor) to consider. - some extra hooks in the showers so you can hang clean clothes, dirty clothes and a towel. - each shower or at least block, should have a squeegee mop. Guest could wipe clean their shower after each use. - female bathroom ran out of toilet paper on more than one occasion. - sign near the hand dryers with something like please consider noise of dryers after 10pm (being close to the block, having people use these for their midnight toilet trip woke us up multiple times)Posted on Adrienne Adrienne Fabulous park great for families and fur babies to enjoy and relax a short on the ferry into town which we used alot.
