We stayed for two nights at Ballina Beach Nature Resort and we absolutely cannot fault this place. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the main office, Colin I think (who I assume is the manager or owner) was a pleasure to interact with. Noticing we were travelling with children, he kindly upgraded us to a luxury tent directly opposite the water park. He suggested it would be the perfect spot to relax on the deck while keeping an eye on the kids and he was 100% correct... it was the ideal upgrade. The tent itself was immaculate, featuring a great aesthetic with a timber interior and a canvas tent exterior. It had plenty of windows, convenient parking and all the amenities we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Having a barbecue included was also a huge bonus. Some highlights of our stay included: The Water Park: A massive hit with the kids. It is fully gated, which is a huge relief for parents knowing children cannot accidentally wander into the pool area. The Location: It is just a short walk around the park to the beach, and the nearby estuary and river provide a calmer waterside experience that is great for fishing. Fire Pits: A fantastic feature is the option to have a fire pit delivered to your campsite for a small fee, or you can join in at the communal fire pit, which is a great experience. Overall, it was an amazing stay, largely thanks to the incredibly positive staff who contributed so much to the experience. We highly recommend it for families!

We had such a great weekend, nice big sites, great amenities and camp kitchen. My favourite thing was that all big lights turned off at 11 and we didnt have the lights beaming in the tent. Waterpark was fantastic for the kids. The playground could have been better but the kids enjoyed it and I would have liked more than 1 hook in the shower but all in all fantastic park and really felt like a lovely, relaxing weekend away.

We had such a great family weekend here! Our son absolutely loved the pool and waterslide, riding his bike around and roasting marshmallows by the firepit. Everything was easy and accessible, and it was also our first caravan trip with our four-legged family member. Such a great experience, highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back soon!

The location is beautiful a very short walk to the beach but lost points as it is not patrolled. Love the bushland surroundings. Service was great face to face however it was difficult to get them on the phone. We stayed in a luxury family size glamping tent..loved the look and the private bathroom in the safari tent and there was a small dish draw dishwasher. However, the lighting was very dim and not adequate, no dry food storage and was missing some luxury touches that I have found at other luxury glamping places. Would have loved mozzie coils, bug spray, bbq cleaning equipment and tissues. Will definitely go again and stay for longer as 2 nights just isn't enough. The kids loved the tanden pedal carts and water slides. The pool area was great. The camp kitchen available in the camping area looks like something from a display home and is magnificent.
