We want you to have the best possible experience at Ballina Beach Nature Resort—safe, fun, and hassle-free. To make sure we’re all on the same page, check out the important info below (we promise, it’s worth it!).

 

Check-In & Check-Out (Let’s Get You Settled)

Check-in:
Sites: From 12:00 pm
Accommodation: From 2:00 pm
Want to check in early? Give us a call on the morning of your arrival to see if it's available (we can’t promise it unless it's on the day). If you need that early check-in, we’ll charge you 50% of the daily rate.
We’ll send you all the arrival details via email after you book!
Check-out:
Time’s up at 10:00 am (but we hate saying goodbye!). Want to stay a little longer? Contact reception a day before your departure to ask about late check-out.
Late check-out? That’ll be an extra 50% of the daily rate.

 

ID Check (Are you who you say you are?)

When you check in, don’t forget your ID! We’ll need a photo ID—passport, driver’s licence, or government-issued ID—just to confirm who you are.

 

Accommodation Requests (We’ll Do Our Best)

Got a favourite spot? We love requests for specific tents and campsites, but we can’t guarantee them. If you've booked multiple spots, we can’t promise they’ll be next to each other either (but we’ll try!).

 

Age Policy (No Solo Adventures for Under-18s)

Under 18? You’ll need to be with an adult (18+). At least one adult must be staying with you for the whole trip!

 

Booking & Payments (Let’s Lock It In)

Deposit: To lock in your stay, we’ll need at least one night’s accommodation up front.
Balance: For school holidays, long weekends and group bookings, your balance is due 30 days before you arrive. For other bookings payment is due 72 hours before check-in.
Credit Card Pre-Authorisation: We’ll need to hold a pre-authorisation on your credit card to cover incidentals.
Payment Methods: We take Visa & MasterCard (with a 1.5% surcharge). No other cards payment methods are available!

 

Rates & Charges (The Money Talk)

Our prices change with the day of week and seasons, so keep an eye out! Rates are for 2 guests, and any extra guests and pets need to be confirmed before you arrive (and will come with an extra charge). Unpaid extra guests will be asked to leave.

 

Infants (Tiny Travellers)

No extra charge for infants (under 2 years old)! We love having the little ones around.

 

Promotions (Who Doesn’t Love a Deal?)

All promotions are only available for direct bookings through our website.
Change your booking? The deal may no longer apply.
Promotions can’t be applied after the fact, so grab them while you can!

 

Cancellation Policy (Life Happens, We Get It)

All cancellations need to be emailed to [email protected]. Don’t forget to include your name, phone number, and reservation number!

 

Low Season Cancellations:

More than 72 hours ahead? You’ll get a refund minus a $50 admin fee, or a 12-month credit.
Less than 72 hours? No refund or credit.

 

School Holidays, Long Weekends & Group Bookings:

More than 1 month ahead? You get a refund minus a $50 admin fee (per site/room), or a 12-month credit.
Less than 1 month? No refund or credit.
Note: No refunds for late check-ins, early check-outs, or bad weather. You know, things that happen!

These cancellation policies applies to direct bookings with us only, if you booked with an OTA you need to check the policy with them at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance (Better Safe Than Sorry!)

We highly recommend that all guests have travel insurance to cover unexpected events. It’s always a good idea to be prepared!

 

Lost Keys (Whoops!)

If you lose your keys, you’ll be charged a $50 replacement fee. Keep ‘em safe!

 

 

Guest Behaviour (Be Cool, Stay Cool)

We want everyone to enjoy their stay! If anyone disrupts the peace or comfort of others, or messes with the safety or security of the place, they’ll be asked to leave (no refund). So, let’s all be kind, yeah?

 

No Smoking (Keep It Fresh)

Smoking or vaping isn’t allowed in any accommodation, the café, pool, water park, amenities, or camp kitchen. If we find smoking in your room, it’ll cost you $300 for cleaning—and you might be asked to leave.

 

No Drugs (We’re All About Good Vibes Only)

Illegal drugs? Nope, not here. Anyone caught with drugs will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund.

 

Noise (Let’s Keep It Chill)

Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm—no music, shouting, or gatherings after that. If we get noise complaints, you might have to leave. No refund for that either, sorry!

 

Property Damage (You Break It, You Pay For It)

You’re responsible for any damage to resort property. If something gets damaged, you’ll need to cover the repair or replacement costs.

 

Bunk Beds (For Big Kids Only)

According to Australian safety standards, kids under 9 should avoid the top bunk. Safety first!

 

Pool & Water Park (Splash with Caution)

These areas are just for resort guests.
Kids under 12 must be with an adult at all times.
No running, diving, or rough play.
Glass containers and hazardous materials are a no-go.
Food and drink from outside? Not allowed—only from our Café and Bar.
Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty.
No pets in the pool or water park area (we love them, but they can’t swim!).

 

Amenities & Laundry (Stay Fresh)

We’ve got multiple amenity blocks and laundry facilities to keep you comfy. Please help us keep them clean for everyone!

 

Camp Kitchen (Grill & Chill)

Our camp kitchen is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and comes with BBQ, fridge, a microwave, and more—everything you need for a tasty stay!

 

Pets (Furry Friends Welcome)

Well-behaved dogs are welcome! Keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
Dogs aren’t allowed in the café, pool, or water park areas.
All pets must have current vaccinations and cannot be left unattended.
Pets are only allowed in pet-friendly accommodations.

 

Vehicles (One Car, One Spot)

One vehicle per accommodation or campsite is allowed. Need more? Just ask us first!

 

Water (It’s a Mix of Magic)

We harvest out own water from a mix of desalination, bore water and rain capture, it is good to drink. Stay hydrated and enjoy the water!

 

Fires (Safety First)

Only campfires in designated braziers, and they must follow fire safety guidelines. We like to keep things safe and cosy!
