We want to ensure your stay at Ballina Beach Nature Resort is safe and enjoyable. Please take a moment to review these Terms & Conditions, including our cancellation policy.

Arrivals & Departures
o        Check-in: From 12:00 pm for sites and 2:00 pm for accommodation.
o        If you would like to request early check-in, please call the Resort on the morning of your arrival day to confirm availability. Free early check-in is not available prior to the day of arrival under any circumstances. For guaranteed early arrival, you will be charged 50% of the daily rate.
o        Arrival instructions will be emailed to you at the email address you provided at the time of booking.
o        Check-out: Check-out is 10:00 am. If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact reception on the day prior to your departure.

o        Guaranteed early check-in or late check-out will be charged at 50% of the daily rate.

Identification
o        A valid form of photo identification will be required at check-in. Forms accepted include a passport, government-issued ID card, or driver’s license.

Specific Accommodation Requests
o        While we are happy to receive requests for specific safari tents and campsites, these cannot be guaranteed. If you have made multiple bookings, we cannot guarantee that all accommodation or campsites will be next to each other.

Age Restrictions
o        Bookings from persons under the age of 18 years will not be accepted unless accompanied by an adult (over 18 years of age). At least one adult must be present for all accommodation types throughout the stay.

Payment for Direct Bookings via Our Website or Phone
o        Deposit: A deposit of at least one night’s accommodation is required to secure all bookings. For some bookings, particularly at certain times of the year, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
o        Balance of Payment: For school holidays, long weekends, and peak seasons, the balance of payment is required 30 days prior to your arrival. For other times of the year, payment is due 24 hours prior to check-in.
o        Credit Card Pre-Authorisation: For all bookings, a credit card pre-authorisation will be required.
o        Payment Reminders: A reminder email will be sent to you 7 days prior to your payment being due, including payment details.
o        Preferred Payment Method: We accept Visa and MasterCard payments. Please note that a 1.5% surcharge applies to all card payments, and no other payment methods are accepted.

Tariffs
o        Tariffs, including any additional guest charges, vary seasonally and are subject to change. Rates are based on two guests. Additional guests are welcome, but you must confirm their inclusion prior to arrival and pay any additional fees. Any extra guests who have not been confirmed or paid for in advance will be asked to leave.

Infants
o        Infants (under 2 years of age) incur no extra charge.

Promotions
o        All promotions are available for direct bookings via our website only.
o        If you make any changes to a booking made under a promotion, standard terms and conditions will apply.
o        Group bookings are not eligible for promotions. If you are interested in a group booking, please contact us directly at [email protected].
o        Once a booking has been made, promotions cannot be applied retrospectively.

Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings)
o        All cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected]. Please include your surname, phone number, reservation number, and the cancellation provision under which you are cancelling.
Low Season:
o        More than 14 days prior: You will receive a refund, minus a $30 administration fee, or a 12-month credit.
o        Less than 14 days prior: No refund or credit will be issued for the first night.
School Holidays, Long Weekends, and Group Bookings:
o        More than 1 month prior: You will receive a refund, minus a $30 administration fee, or a 12-month credit.
o        Less than 1 month prior: No refund or credit will be issued.
o        No refunds will be given for late check-ins, early check-outs, or bad weather during your stay.

Keys for Accommodation
o        A $50 charge will be incurred for any lost or damaged keys.

Bunk Beds (Ages 9+ Only)
o        In accordance with Australian safety standards, children under the age of 9 should not use the top bunk or elevated beds.

Guest Behaviour
o        Any guest found to compromise the comfort, safety, or security of other guests, staff, or local wildlife will be asked to leave the resort immediately, without a refund.

No Smoking
o        Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in all accommodation, the Café, the pool and water park area, amenities blocks, the shala and the camp kitchen. A $300 cleaning fee applies for any accommodation where smoking is detected, and you may be asked to leave the resort immediately, without a refund.

No Drugs
o        The possession or use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Any guest found using or in possession of drugs will be asked to leave immediately, without a refund.

Noise
o        To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, a noise curfew of 10:00 pm is enforced. After this time, no music, shouting, or gatherings are permitted. Guests who breach this curfew will be asked to leave without a refund.

Damage to Property
o        Guests are responsible for any damage caused to resort property and will be required to reimburse Ballina Beach Nature Resort for repair or replacement costs.

Resort Pool and Water Park Guidelines
o        The pool and water park are for resort guest use only.
o        Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
o        Proper swimwear must be worn at all times.
o        Running, diving, and rough play are not permitted.
o        Glass containers and other hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
o        No outside food or beverages are allowed in the pool area—only food and drinks purchased from the  Resort’s Café may be consumed.
o        Guests swim at their own risk, there is no lifeguard on duty.
o        No pets are permitted in the pool and water park area.
o        Respectful behaviour towards others is required at all times.

Bathrooms, Toilets, Showers & Laundry
o        The resort provides several amenity blocks and laundry facilities for your convenience. Please help us maintain cleanliness for all guests.

Camp Cooking Facilities & Hours
o        Our fully equipped camp kitchen is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and includes BBQs, ovens, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster.

Pets
o       Well-behaved and socialised dogs are welcome at the resort.
o       All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
o       Dogs are not permitted in the cafe, pool and water park area.
o       All pets must have current vaccinations.
o       Pets must not be left unattended at any time.
o       Pets are permitted in pet friendly accommodation only.
o       Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Vehicles
o        One vehicle per accommodation or campsite is permitted unless prior arrangements are made with management.

Water
o        Drinking water at the resort is supplied via a combination of desalination and rain capture. Bore water is used for flushing toilets and is non-potable.

Fires
o        Campfires are allowed in designated braziers only and must comply with fire safety regulations.
